How far in advance should I book a DuneRide transfer?

For intercity journeys such as Dubai to Abu Dhabi we ask for at least two hours notice so we can assign the right chauffeur and vehicle. Airport arrivals, early-morning departures and group bookings are best confirmed a day ahead. If you need a car sooner, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether we can cover it.

How is my booking confirmed?

Once you submit a booking request our reservations team reviews the details and replies with a written confirmation containing your fixed fare, pickup window and chauffeur details. Nothing is charged and nothing is final until you have that confirmation in writing.

Can I change the pickup time after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send us the new time by WhatsApp or phone and we will re-confirm availability. Timing changes made well before the pickup window are handled at no cost. Very late changes may require a different vehicle and we will always tell you before anything is adjusted.

Can I book several journeys at once?

You can. Add the details of each leg in the special instructions field, or send the full itinerary on WhatsApp. Recurring office commutes and multi-day itineraries are quoted as a package rather than as separate trips.

How can I pay for my journey?

Cash in dirhams and card payment to the chauffeur are both accepted. Corporate accounts can be invoiced monthly against a purchase order. Payment terms are agreed in writing when your booking is confirmed.

Is the fare really fixed?

Accepted Answer

The fare we confirm in writing is the fare you pay. It does not rise with traffic, waiting inside the included window, or the route the chauffeur takes. It only changes if you change the journey itself, for example by adding a stop or a second destination, and we would agree that with you first.

What is included in the quoted fare?

Your chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, Salik and road tolls, standard waiting time and chilled water on board. Optional extras such as an extended wait, an additional stop or a child seat are quoted separately and never added silently.

Do you take a deposit?

Individual transfers do not normally require a deposit. Large group movements, event work and multi-day charters may be confirmed against a partial advance, which is always agreed in writing before the booking is held.

Where will my chauffeur meet me at the airport?

In the arrivals hall, at the exit of your terminal, holding a name board. We share your chauffeur name, phone number and vehicle details before you land so you can call directly the moment you clear customs.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Give us your flight number when you book and we monitor the arrival time. If the flight lands late your pickup moves with it at no extra charge. Airport bookings include a generous complimentary waiting window from the moment the aircraft is on the ground.

Which airports do you cover?

Dubai International (DXB), Al Maktoum International (DWC), Zayed International in Abu Dhabi (AUH), Sharjah (SHJ) and Ras Al Khaimah (RKT). Transfers run in both directions between any of these airports and any address in the UAE.

How early will you collect me for a departing flight?

We plan the pickup around your terminal, the time of day and the traffic on your route, then confirm the exact window with you. For an Abu Dhabi to Dubai airport run we generally allow a comfortable margin over the pure driving time so a delay on the E11 never costs you the flight.

Which vehicle should I choose?

Accepted Answer

The Executive Sedan suits one to three guests with two cases. The Luxury SUV suits families, higher seating and up to five cases. The Premium Van keeps groups of up to twelve together in one vehicle. If you are unsure, tell us the number of guests and cases and we will recommend the right class.

Can I request a specific model?

You can request a preference and we will do our best to honour it. We confirm the vehicle class rather than a specific model, so the car that arrives is always equivalent or better than the class you booked.

How are the vehicles maintained?

Every car is serviced on schedule, cleaned inside and out between journeys and checked before it is dispatched. If anything about your vehicle is not right, tell your chauffeur or our team and we will replace it.

How much luggage can I bring?

The sedan comfortably takes two large cases plus cabin bags, the SUV takes five and the van takes ten. Tell us your real luggage count when booking and we will assign a vehicle that fits it, rather than discovering the problem at the kerb.

Can you carry golf clubs, skis or oversized items?

Yes, with notice. Oversized items usually require the SUV or the van. Mention the item when you book so the right vehicle is assigned.

Do you provide child seats?

Child and booster seats are available on request at no extra cost, subject to availability. Please tell us the age of each child when booking so the correct seat is fitted before the chauffeur sets off.

How do I cancel a booking?

What counts as a no-show?

A no-show is when the chauffeur has arrived at the confirmed pickup point, the included waiting time has elapsed and we have not been able to reach you. We always attempt to call and message before treating a booking as a no-show.

How are refunds handled?

Which areas of the UAE do you cover?

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are our core corridor, and we also serve Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Ain. If your destination is not listed on the site, send it to us and we will quote it.

We quote a fixed fare based on the route, the vehicle class you choose, whether the trip is one-way or return, and any late-night or airport access charges that apply. The estimate shown by the fare calculator on this site is indicative; the written confirmation from our team is the fare you pay.

Door to door it is typically around an hour and a half, depending on your pickup point, your destination and the traffic on the E11. Peak-hour departures and destinations beyond the Abu Dhabi city centre can add time, and we build that into the pickup we confirm.

Can I add a stop along the way?

Yes. Tell us where and roughly how long you need. Short stops are usually absorbed into the fixed fare; longer ones are quoted as an addition so there is no surprise at the end of the journey.
